Delving into one’s own past can be a perilous journey.  For one particular vampire, it has been his life’s quest.  With no recollection of his mortal past and no contact with any other supernatural being, he ventures out into the world looking for someone or something like himself.  With the help of his new ally Gabriel, a member of DPI (Department of Paranormal Investigation), he finally finds the hidden doors to the world of the supernatural.  But what if ignorance is truly bliss?  What if the past is something that should not be remembered?  For this vampire, he unfolds the truth of his past to find out that he played a much greater part in the war between God and the Devil than he could have ever imagined.
